Well, here it is. The collective force of Elias Ronnenfelt (Iceage, Marching Chuch) and Loke Rahbek (Sexdrome, co-founder of the legendary Posh Isolation). You probably know all about this band by now and what they sound like so I won’t bore you. It’s bleak, sexual, androgynous cold wave with synths and drum machines that sound malicious in their low fidelity. There are a few awkward moments (specifically the title track) and there are a few songs that are absolutely beautiful (Pictures Of Today/Victoral, the first track and the one track that was already released) but No One Dances Quite Like My Brothers is one of the most unique releases this year and certainly the best that I’ve heard yet.
